It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ - A True Love Story

As my first official beauty blog post I thought I owe it to my all-time favorite product; the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream.
I suffered from rosacea and super sensitive skin my whole life; every foundation I used led to my skin breaking out, but I kept on using foundation to keep hiding these breakouts that just kept increasing. Traveling, cheat meals, stress and other factors also played a role in my regular breakouts and literally my skin could not catch a break.

November 2016, I moved to New York to study Image Consulting and the first day I got to my apartment I had the TV playing in the background while I was organizing my things and an ad was playing about It Cosmetics “Bye Bye Pores” pressed powder; the name of it caught my attention since pores was something I had to deal with covering on daily basis and I paused to watch the ad (it felt like a segment to be honest cause it ran for a while) – Next thing I knew, I was in Sephora looking for this brand called It Cosmetics (it was the first time I hear of it) and wanting to buy their “Bye Bye Pores” pressed powder. It was then and there that I discovered their “Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream”. It only came in a couple of shades at the time and there was just one (the silver one); I grabbed one to test it and it was the best decision I have ever made.

The brand creates cosmetics infused with skincare ingredients to protect and help treat damages that regular cosmetics cause to the skin. The “Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream” provides full coverage, while hydrating your skin and protecting it with the hydrating serum and SPF 50 it contains. You can apply it directly to your clean face as it combines both the moisturizer, SPF and foundation steps in just one or if you choose to moisturize before it is also completely up to you. I have personally done both without a single breakout.

Since then It Cosmetics has launched many more shades of my go to CC Cream as well as different versions of it (Matte & Illuminating). Now, they have a wide range of shades that caters to every skin tone.

At some point my skin was oily so I switched to the matte CC Cream but as my skin changes with the season I keep going back and forth between the original and the matte (please scroll down for pics)

I used to stock up for the year whenever I visit New York; now I shop it from Cult Beauty and it delivers straight to my doorstep.
